Vāstav is an architect-led spatial-intelligence service. We read a home’s light, proportion, orientation, and flow through classical Indian spatial principles and modern environmental science, and return a written reading.
What Vāstav is, and is not
Vāstav is informational. Our readings, scores, maps, room verdicts, climate notes, and any platform-generated text are provided to help you understand and plan your space. They are perspective and guidance.
Vāstav is not professional architectural, structural, engineering, legal, or planning-approval advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed professional. A Vāstav reading does not certify a building, does not constitute structural or safety assessment, and is not an approval under any building bye-law. For construction, structural, statutory, or safety decisions, engage a licensed architect or structural engineer and rely on official sources. Where a reading suggests a structural change, that is a prompt to consult a professional, not a specification to build from.
No outcome claims. Ever. This is core to how Vāstav is built, and it is part of these terms. Vāstav does notclaim, and expressly disclaims, that following or not following any guidance will affect anyone’s health, disease, mortality, fertility, marriage, relationships, wealth, business, or financial outcomes. Our readings are environmental and spatial interpretations. They are not predictions, diagnoses, or remedies, and they must not be relied on as such. If you encounter anyone presenting Vāstav content as a cure, a warning of misfortune, or a guarantee of fortune, that is a misuse of our work.
Terms of use
By accessing or using Vāstav (the website, app, reports, or exports), you agree to the following.
Informational use. Use readings for planning and understanding only, subject to the limitations above.
Your account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login and for activity under your account. 【FILL: minimum-age requirement if any】
Your uploads (floor plans, photos, location).You keep all rights in the plans, drawings, images, and details you upload. You grant Vāstav a limited licence to process them solely to generate and deliver your reading and to operate and improve the service. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, for example, that you are entitled to share an architect’s drawing of your home. Do not upload material you do not have the right to share.
Our work. The Vāstav name and mark, the reading methodology, the mapping of spatial principles to climate reasoning, the report format, the written content, and the software are owned by 【FILL: entity】or its licensors. Readings are provided for your personal use; please don’t resell, republish, or systematically extract them without written permission.
Sources and methodology.Readings are generated by Vāstav’s system applying an architect-defined methodology, cited classical texts (such as Bṛhat Saṁhitā, Manasāra, Mayamata), and environmental data. Citations point to source traditions; the interpretation and synthesis are Vāstav’s own and are offered in good faith, not as definitive scholarship.
Third-party and environmental data. We rely on open and licensed data (for example climate, weather, air-quality, mapping, and regulatory sources). Their terms and attributions apply, and such data may be incomplete, generalised, or out of date. Location-specific figures are best-available estimates, not measurements of your individual home.
Acceptable use.Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to breach security, no scraping that violates these terms or third-party terms, no unlawful uploads, and no reselling access without written permission.
Availability.The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, 【FILL: entity】 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Vāstav, and 【FILL: confirm with counsel, e.g. total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant reading】.
Reports, payments, and refunds
What you’re buying. A Vāstav reading is a digital report generated for the plan and details you provide. Pada Home from ₹999. Pricing shown at checkout governs your purchase.
Delivery. Readings are generated and delivered shortly after you upload (for Pada Home, typically within a few minutes). A delivered reading is a consumed digital good.
Refunds. Because a reading is generated to order and delivered as a digital good, a completed, delivered reading is non-refundable once generated. We do not refund on the basis that a reading did not match what you personally hoped to read. What each reading includes and omits is described in our samples and guides before you pay, so you can set expectations beforehand.
If something goes wrong on our side. If a technical fault prevents your reading from being generated or delivered, contact 【FILL: support email】 and we will re-run it or make it right. 【FILL: state any re-issue window, e.g. within 3 to 5 business days of confirmation】

Privacy and your data
Your uploads and readings are associated with your account and handled under our Privacy Policy.
